Also an audio amplifier has been installed as well as a new speaker to boost the sound. The shell has a clear anodized layer which adds additional protection and the unit weighs in at around 230grams which feels solid.

The IPS display is the clearest and brightest mod for the Gameboy Color and overall is an amazing upgrade. Brightness has 5 levels that can be selected by simply taping the capacitive switch under the IR window on the top of the console.
