The brand new pre-installed screen comes with both touch and button controls to fully personalise the gaming experience by changing brightness, pixel effect and more! Custom made in London, United Kingdom! On top of the IPS display, you can also choose further mods for your new Game Boy.

Enhanced speaker: a brand new 2W speaker will be installed, to increase the overall maximum volume. Additional motherboards will be installed to clean the typical crackly and hissy noise of the old Game Boys, and amplify the sound by making it even louder and clearer for the speaker and headphone jack.

Power regulator: this mod will help managing the power consumption of every mod installed in the Game Boy (including the pre-installed IPS display) by improving the energy distribution within the unit itself. It will make your batteries last more and each mod consume less. Programmable LEDs: this mod allows you to choose among 30 different colours to light up your Game Boy buttons and make your console even more unique. Rechargeable USB-C battery: this mod adds 6.6 watts of power for long game play. Upgrade your Game Boy from its low powered AA battery compartment to a drop-in USB-C rechargeable battery pack, which will allow you to treat your console like a modern rechargeable device. Comfortably charge your battery when the light indicator turns red and unplug the cable when it turns green. Tenavolts 1.5V AA batteries: if you want to keep things more traditional, we can provide you with Tenavolts batteries which are designed to always output the same amount of power no matter how old they are, unlike standard batteries which degrade extremely quickly the more. Because of the energy-hungry IPS display installed, it is recommended to add at least the power regulator mod, but it would be ideal to get both the power regulator and the rechargeable USB-C / AA batteries mods in order to experience a much longer performance. When using the rechargeable USB-C battery pack, it is advisable to switch off the console while charging it, as otherwise not enough power will get stored in the battery itself.
