Handcrafted and customisable Gameboy Advance. Gameboy Macro made from a Nintendo DS Lite. Works just like a Gameboy Advance. Amazing Backlit TFT LCD Display!! Choose your shell colour and button colours.

Choose your Gameboy Macro Shell Colour from the drop-down box. Choose your Button Colour from the drop-down box. By default I apply this to the A, B, Start, Select and D-pad buttons and leave the rest the same colour as the shell. Choose your Light-Bar Colours from the drop-down box.

These are the colours that the light-bar will glow. You can have any colour combination you want.

The light-bar can be all the same colour if you want. Following your order I assemble your unique Gameboy Macro. I absolutely love watching a one-of-a-kind Gameboy Macro coming together and can never wait to get started! Gameboy Macro - So what is it? The Gameboy Macro is the name for a customized Nintendo DS Lite - made by removing the top screen and performing some soldering magic to the motherboard to get it to play GBA games.

The result is a GBA with a much improved LCD display. Vastly superior even to the backlit GBA SP (see the pictures I took myself above).

It works EXACTLY the same as a GBA and plays all GBA games! The only difference is that it won't play original Gameboy games, just Gameboy Advance games. In my opinion this is the BEST way to play GBA games! This Gameboy Macro has speakers fitted and so plays sound?

And also has a rechargeable battery. It is region unlocked and so can play US or Japanese GBA games as well as European ones. The touch-screen functionality will be removed because it is not required for GBA games and makes the screen clearer. Please let me know when ordering if you want to keep the touch-screen.

The Gameboy Macro is made from a used Nintendo DS and so may have the usual wear and tear of a used handheld, however I only use DS Lite's in decent condition to make Macros. If you have any special requests then let me know in a message after placing your order. The light-bar can be changed from the standard frosted-effect, to a bubble-effect as shown in the 10th picture. I can change the charge-port to USB-C if required.
